Kendrick Lamar is really keeping his foot on Drake’s neck. On Friday (May 3), the Compton emcee released another Drizzy diss track entitled “6:16 in LA.” The song contained claims that Drake has offered money to folks in exchange for dirt on Kendrick, but came up empty-handed. K. Dot also suggested that Drake has snitches in his camp.

Even though DJ Akademiks calls Drake a friend, he was elated to be mentioned on “6:16 in LA.” On the track, Kendrick says: “Yeah, somebody’s lyin’/I could see the vibes on Ak’/Even he lookin’ compromised/Let’s peel the layers back.”

Media personality Scottie Beam said that “Kendrick really sent a ‘LOOK AT ME.. no.. seriously… you really don’t want to do this with me..’ record.”

Shortly before Kendrick dropped “6:16 in LA,” Metro Boomin tweeted “Thank God For The Day!” This statement led folks to believe that he knew a second diss track was coming.
