The 2024 Democratic National Convention was a star-studded affair, that featured four nights of powerful speeches supporting Harris’ campaign to become the next president. In addition to celebs like Kerry Washington; Stevie Wonder; and John Legend, all of whom have already endorsed the vice president, we got buzzy, impactful moments from Oprah Winfrey; Stephen Curry; Lil Jon; Wendell Pierce; and Barack and Michelle Obama.

Performing on night three of the Democratic National Convention, the music legend that is Stevie Wonder gave vocals and support for Harris with his timeless performance.
Yvette Nicole Brown
Back in July, Yvette Nicole Brown made it crystal clear who she’s voting for, writing in a tweet to X/Twitter: “I’m sure it goes without saying but I FULLY stand with (and next to) my Soror, the fabulous @KamalaHarris ! She has my FULL endorsement for President of the United States.”

Showing her support at the Democratic National Convention as well, Octavia Spencer rooted for Harris and Walz in a video posted to her Instagram page.

From Michelle pointing out that being president was now a “Black job,” to Barack mocking Trump’s obsession with “crowd sizes,” the former first couple showed that they’re still two of the most impactful, entertaining public figures we’ve ever known. Seriously, we’re gonna have Michelle’s speech on repeat for the rest of the campaign.

Her fiery speech at the 2024 Democratic National Convention told everyone that Kamala Harris is definitely one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things.”
Steph Curry
Fresh off his heroics in the gold medal game at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry surprised DNC attendees by popping up on video to endorse the former California Senator. He cited the teamwork it took to win gold and the immense pride he had in being a part of Team USA as his inspiration for choosing Harris.
“That unity on and off the court reminded us that together we can do all things and continue to inspire the world,” Curry said while wearing his gold medal. “That’s why I believe that Kamala as president can bring that unity back and continue to move our country forward. This is about preserving hope and belief in our country. Making sure families can be taken care of in their most precious times.”
John Legend
Back in late July 21, John Legend was among the first celeb to publicly endorse VP Harris.
Spike Lee

Noting her presence on the historic call where 44,000 Black women raised over $1 million for Kamala Harris’ campaign, Holly Robinson Peete shared her excitement for the upcoming election.
Kerry Washington
Following the news, Kerry Washington wrote on X/Twitter:

“AHAHAHAHA LETS GOOOOO I TOLD YALLL KAMALA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE 2024 candidate…..STOP FCKIN PLAYIN WITH ME !!!!!!!,” Cardi B wrote on X/Twitter following the news and in response to a resurfaced video from June of her commentary from the earlier debate between Trump and Biden, in which she also talked about VP Kamala Harris taking Biden’s place.
“You know you want to be the fucking president,” Cardi said at one point in the nearly 10-minute long video (in which she also caused a slight stir when she later mentioned how she wasn’t “fucking with none of them” —Democrat or Republican. But thanks to this new announcement, it appears as if she may have had a slight change of heart.
