Amid the gorgeous gowns and dazzling jewelry, it sometimes gets lost that fashion is an artform. The most influential and famous names of that art were honored Monday night at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards. In addition to recognizing the best designers of the year, the event also celebrated Erykah Badu’s trendsetting, unapologetically authentic style with the fashion icon award.
