In the most bizarre presidential campaign video ever, the Herman Cain campaign released an online ad on Oct. 19 that features the GOP candidate’s chief of staff, Mark Block, encouraging viewers to vote for the former pizza executive.

“We have run a campaign like no one has ever seen,” Block says, according to Business Insider. “But then, America has never seen a candidate like Herman Cain. We need you to get involved, because together we can do this — we can take this country back.”
Then, as he finishes, Block smokes a cigarette while a song plays: “I am America. One voice. United we stand.” The ad, paid for by Friends of Herman Cain, closes with a image of a smiling Cain.
Needless to say, the video has gone viral and initially left scores of people questioning its authenticity. But it’s real. Maybe it’s a mistake, though — someone accidentally released the wrong video. You know, the jokey one. We’re waiting for a news release from the Cain campaign saying that Block mis-smoked. It’s not too late.
