The University of Kansas Athletics suspended a cheerleader Monday upon discovering a controversial Snapchat photo that referenced the Ku Klux Klan and Donald Trump, the Kansas City Star reports.

According to the report, associate athletic director Jim Marchiony confirmed that officials at the university were aware of Lili Gagin’s social media post—which showed three men wearing sweaters with the letter “K” to represent “Kansas.” However, the caption across the photo read, “Kkk go trump.”
Marchiony said that the three men shown in the photo were also members of the cheerleading squad. According to CBS News, the men were suspended as well.
According to the Star, Gagin has denied her involvement on Twitter.
“I’m appalled that a snapchat was put out on my snapchat and posted to my account,” Gagin, whose account is locked, reportedly tweeted. “I would never (have) done that & I apologize that it happened.”
