Haleyโs tweet was posted after North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile that scientists say could have reached Alaska. So there is that. Haley didnโt understand why keeping America safe had to happen on White People Independence Day.
โWhile I appreciate your service to our nation, perhaps you should be thanking the nearly 200,000 US troops serving overseas on #FourthOfJuly,โ Andrew Weinstein, a lawyer and former Obama administration appointee, wrote on Twitter, Yahoo! Other Twitter users werenโt as kind.
I actually understand Haleyโs shock at having to work. We all know that Trumpโs Cabinet didnโt think that governing meant theyโd have to work weekends. In fact, I donโt think they believed that governing meant theyโd have to work at all. I truly believe that this administration, from the top down, has been baffled that this whole running-the-country thing means actually doing stuff.
If Haley was using her boss as a marker, then she would think that โworkโ consisted of early-morning tweeting, talks about Hillary Clintonโs emails and Barack Obama living his best life, along with rallies and golfing. So I get it, Nikki, and hopefully all of this work stuff stops interfering with you getting some sun.
