Seems Like We Can't Get Rid of Roseanne Barr That Easily; Comedian Speaks Out About Job Offers She's Received Since Racist Rant

According to Barr herself, she is already considering a new offer to return to TV.

โ€œInside every bad thing is a good thing waiting to happen and I feel very excited because Iโ€™ve already been offered so many things and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it,โ€ she said, with all the faux stoicism she could muster. โ€œBut weโ€™ll see.โ€

Barr revealed her apparently good fortune to her friend, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, in a new podcast that was released on Saturday night, ABC News notes.

Barr didnโ€™t offer any details about these job offers, but there you have it; Roseanne may be down, but apparently, sheโ€™s not out.

So much for comedianย Jerry Seinfeldโ€™s theory that her firing from the ABC reboot Roseanne was overkill because โ€œsheโ€™s already dead.โ€

Barr was quickly dragged to the depths of hell in May after she thought it was a great idea to refer to former President Obamaโ€™s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett as a product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes in a tweet.

ABC dropped her quicker than the proverbial hot potato even as Barr released a torrent of white tears, insisting that she wasnโ€™t racist, then claiming she was woozy at the time she was tweeting because of Ambien, then claiming that the tweet was really about anti-semitism, before ultimately crying in another podcast interview released earlier in June with Boteach that she โ€œlost everything.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not a racist, Iโ€™m an idiot,โ€ Barr said.

Whatever it was, looks like those white woman tears are paying off.

In all of this, Barr said that while she apologized to Jarrett the same day her tweet got her in trouble, she intends to reach out to Jarrett to apologize privately, you know, after two months.

โ€œI do [plan to call],โ€ Barr said. โ€œBut once again, itโ€™s all about the right words and you have to do a lot of meditating and praying for the right words and I just donโ€™t know what the right words would be.โ€

Now all of a sudden, you have concerns about the โ€œright wordsโ€ when you didnโ€™t seem to give a damn before, Roseanne.
