According to Billboard, the 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on traditional album sales, track-equivalent albums and streaming-equivalent albums. Unbreakable, which was released Oct. 2, is at No. 1 with 116,000 equivalent-album units earned at the end of last week and 109,000 in album sales. Jackson now joins the likes of Barbra Streisand and Madonna, who set similar records.

After a seven-year hiatus, Jackson not only released the new album but has also been on a sold-out tour across North America for the last couple of weeks. Unbreakable is a joint release from both BMG and Jackson’s own record label, Rhythm Nation Records.
