On June 5, Talib was shot in the leg and reportedly told police that he was standing in a park when he was hit. According to TMZ Sports, Talib wasn’t standing in a park but was actually at V Live strip club when a shooting occurred, and Talib reportedly shot himself during the incident.

Sadly, this wouldn’t be the first time an NFL star has shot himself in the leg. In 2008 Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg on his way into a nightclub.

TMZ Sports notes that if police determine that Talib lied to them, he could be charged with a crime. The NFL is investigating the incident.
