While her ex-husband faces execution, Mildred Muhammad is out peddling her book, Scared Silent, about her life with John Allen Muhammad, the Beltway sniper who killed ten people in the Washington, D.C., area.
Muhammad has said that she felt a sense of guilt in connection with the slayings, believing that those people caught bullets meant for her.
