The greatest basketball player in this decade just happens to be one of the most socially conscious, and as such, when the dictator with the little hands was gifted the presidential election by his Russian cousins and 53 percent of white women, LeBron “King” James decided that he wasn’t staying at any Donald Trump hotels when the Cleveland Cavaliers were in town.

Now the Trump SoHo in New York City is losing the president’s name from its hotel because his name is trash and the king has spoken.

James and his teammates refused to stay at Trump hotels a little over a year ago, and their proclamation not to give the president of rural white interest another dime sparked a snowball effect that included some 20 sports teams also following suit, the New York Daily News reports.

Here’s how the New York Times explains that snowball of awesomeness:

But the glitter masked a challenging reality, according to a longtime member of the staff who asked not to be named because employees had signed a nondisclosure agreement. After LeBron James publicly refused to stay at the hotel last year, the corporate clients and 20 or so sports teams that had been regular guests almost entirely disappeared, the staff member said. Porters whose base salaries were once buoyed by up to $60,000 a year in gratuities have earned half as much in tips.

Now, because of James’ stand, the Trump Organization is removing its name from the 46-floor skyscraper in hopes that people will return to the massive structure that symbolizes corruption (fine, it doesn’t symbolize corruption, but whatever).

Soon the entire evil tower will fall … fine, there is no evil tower but, again, whatever.
