Twenty-year-old Kayla Henriques of Brooklyn, N.Y., was sentenced to 15 years in prison for stabbing her friend, 22-year-old Kamisha Richards, to death.

The two had been arguing over $20 that Richards lent Henriques. The argument spilled over into text messages and onto Facebook, and in February 2011, things got physical.

Henriques said in her confession that she got a knife after Richards picked up a pair of scissors during an argument. "She swung and I swung," she wrote.

It is reported that the two exchanged threatening messages via Facebook in the days leading up to the incident.
