Now that the president has come out and given his full endorsement to accused pedophile, and Alabama GOP Senate candidate, Roy Moore, the Republican National Committee is sending funds to help Moore’s campaign efforts in a closely contested race that will be decided next week.

“The RNC is the political arm of the president and we support the president,” an RNC official told Breitbart News.

Moore’s campaign has been plagued with allegations ranging from improper behavior to sexual assault of teens. Trump has continued to support Moore despite one woman’s claim that the GOP candidate initiated sexual contact with her when she was just 14 and Moore was well into his 30s. It has been rumored that Moore’s exploits with underage girls are widely known in the Alabama area, all claims that Moore and his supporters vehemently deny, CNN reports.

White House spokesman Raj Shah told CNN that Trump called the embattled former judge and added that the two “had a positive call” during which they “discussed the state of the Alabama Senate race.”

When the allegations initially surfaced, the RNC withdrew fundraising, but with the president’s full support behind Moore, the RNC sees no need to continue withholding funds.

“I am honored to receive the support and endorsement of President Donald Trump,” Moore said in the statement viewed by CNN. “President Trump knows that the future of his conservative agenda in Congress hinges on this election. I look forward to fighting alongside the President to strengthen our military, secure our border, protect our gun rights, defend the sanctity of life, and confirm conservative judges to courts around this nation. We had a good conversation over the phone today and are working together towards conservative victory on December 12.”
