Jordan Peele made history Sunday night when his film Get Out won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Peele, who was only the fourth black writer to ever be nominated for best original screenplay, became the first African American to take home the award in the category. Yes, 90 years later, “firsts” are still happening, and there are many “firsts” to come.
