Since they have such a low profile in the Black community, McDonald's has decided to go all 'Black in America' on us and launch 365Black.com. Replete with references to pictures of Black nuclear families and eager college grads clutching their diplomas in celebration, the site wants to be a focal point of Black web interaction.

"Like the unique African Baobob tree, which nourishes its community with its leaves and fruit, McDonald's has branched out to the African-American community with its valuable programs and opportunities."

While The Buzz laughs heartily at McDonald's pandering to the Black folkβ€”with no mention of how its has hurt that same community over the decadesβ€”it should be noted, for the record, that McDonald's is doing a lot more than others.
