TikTok’s ‘Corporate Erin’ Nails Sheryl Lee Ralph Spoof With 2 M Views

The viral TikTok star "Corporate Erin: made waves after she posted a spot on impression of the "Abbott Elementary" star.

TikTok may be on its way to a ban in the United States, but one of itโ€™s biggest stars, Lisa Beasley, is showing no signs of going anywhere. The popular social media star posted her biggest video yet over the weekend, swapping out her fan-favorite character of โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ for Sheryl Lee Ralph, who, as we reported, went viral over the weekend for her comments on marriage.

In the real video, Ralph gave the secret to her successful marriage, saying that she is โ€œvery fortunateโ€ to be married to Senator Vincent Hughes of Pennsylvania. โ€œYou fall in love with somebody and you realize heโ€™s not leaving his career,โ€ she explained. โ€œHeโ€™s not leaving Philadelphia. Iโ€™m not leaving Hollywood. When you have children, itโ€™s very difficult.โ€

Is Sheryl in the Room?

Mere days after the interview with People Magazine took off, Beasley hopped on social media with a spot-on impression of Ralph, rocking a purple robe resembling Ralphโ€™s silky shirt of the same color in the video.

From mimicking the cadence of Ralphโ€™s voice, her specific hand gestures, and her intense eye contact, Beasley nails the impression, so much so that her video went viral on its own. With 2.3 million views on the video so far, the video has taken off, with the comments praising her impression.

โ€œNot you getting tickled at yourself,โ€ one user wrote, as Beasley often cracks herself up at her own impression in the clip. Another user was so impressed with Beasley, they assumed she was just doing a lip sync to the original audio of Ralph. โ€œI thought this was a voiceover,โ€ they wrote.

Corporate Erin: The Gift That Keeps on Giving

This isnโ€™t the first time Beasley has gone viral with her hilarious social media content. As we mentioned, her character of โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ took Tiktok by storm a few years back, effortlessly parodying the corporate jargon and lingo often found in that world, with her toxic positivity triggering many of her hundreds of thousands of followers.

Her character is so popular, that one of her first videos as the character currently stands at a whopping 12.3 million views on the video-sharing app.

Since she debuted the character in 2023, Lisa Beasley has appeared on various platforms and publications, most times appearing as โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ herself, as the character has come at a time when many feel a sense of burnout and exhaustion from their corporate jobs.

โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ even landed a spot on the Tamron Hall show, appearing in a hilarious segment with over 50,000 views on YouTube. Check out the hilarious moment below.

Other Characters

Even long before โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ hit the stage, Beasley had several viral impressions under her belt. Back when โ€œThe Crownโ€ was making waves on Netflix in 2020, Beasley took to TikTok with an uncanny impression of Margaret Thatcher.

She also took off with an impression of a more current political figure, posting content as Lori Lightfoot, former mayor of Chicago.

Should Beasley Set Her Sights on โ€˜SNL?โ€™

With all of this virality, we canโ€™t help but wonder what the future may hold for Beasley, with or without Tiktok. Her videos constantly hit millions of views, with everyone clamoring for more from not just โ€œCorporate Erinโ€ anymore but any and all content from Beasley herself.

With all of these eyes on her, weโ€™re wondering what, Lorne Michaels, famed head of Saturday Night Live,โ€ may be thinking. These characters of hers seem just as funny (if not funnier) than what the beloved sketch show has been churning out in recent years. So, could Beaslyโ€™s next stop by โ€œSNLโ€? We certainly hope so.
