President Hugo Chavez has severed Venezuela's diplomatic relations with Colombia over claims that he harbors guerrillas. Chavez says that he has no choice in the matter because Colombian officials continue to insist that he has failed to act against leftist rebels who allegedly have taken shelter in Venezuelan territory, for which they produced photos, video and other materials as proof. Chavez said the United States is using Colombia to undermine Venezuela's efforts toward regional integration. Nice try at changing the subject, but if Venezuela is harboring leftist rebels, then wouldn't that be considered a war crime? We're not psychics, so you might want to give Dionne Warwick a call, because we see war between these two countries in the very near future.
