When a person is subpoenaed for a court-ordered deposition, they are typically “served” in person by a process server, a county sheriff or marshal. Streamer Adin Ross claims he was the recipient of just that by Megan Thee Stallion, but claims her means of delivering the court papers came with a side of lively Mexican tunes, violins and sombreros.

During a stream with DJ Akademiks, Ross alleges Megan Thee Savage Stallion and Roc Nation used a mariachi band to deliver him legal papers. “They couldn’t [legally] serve me outside my house,” Ross claimed. “Listen to what the lawyers did. They called a mariachi to my house. They called a mariachi, like a Mexican band, to perform outside my house… to make me want to come outside so they can serve me the paper.”
Ross, 24, then showed viewers a photo on his phone of the band in his driveway, which he initially thought was a random performance in his neighborhood, per reports. It wasn’t until later did he and his security team discover the band was an alleged cover-up to actually serve him.
“My lawyer is like, ‘Adin, just tell them to contact me.’ So me and my lawyer are hopping on a call tomorrow to figure out when I’m going to do the deposition,” Ross said online. “And I’m going to ask if I can stream it.”
The alleged subpoena reportedly stems from Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, and her civil litigation against Tory Lanez. After the latter was convicted in December 2022 of shooting her in the foot and was subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison, the Houston Hottie is now alleging Lanez is orchestrating an elaborate scheme to harass her even from behind bars.
The Kick streamer, who claims the “Mamushi” rapper and her legal team are “baiting” him, according to Page Six, has been vocal about his dislike for Megan and claims she “got caught lying in 4K” about the shooting. Ross has consistently supported Lanez and have publicly advocated for his release from prison. The outlet also reported he demanded Lanez’s freedom during a livestream that was later shared on X in January.
“Free motherf*cking Tory Lanez,” Ross said. “And I will always stay with this statement; I don’t give a f*ck where I’m at in life. Free Tory Lanez.” He added how, “[Megan] got caught lying. […] She said they weren’t having sex, then said they f*cked a few times. She’s never even shown her foot.”
As of this writing, neither Megan Thee Stallion nor her legal counsel have publicly confirmed— or denied— Ross’ claims.
