Racist Milo Yiannopoulos has resigned from the white supremacist publication Breitbart in the wake of outrage stemming from an interview in which Yiannopoulos not only sympathized with underage rape and pedophilia but even joked that he learned to give better oral sex after he was molested by “Father Michael.”

According to the Washington Post, several employees at Breitbart threatened to quit if Yiannopoulos wasn’t fired, so he officially submitted his resignation, noting that he didn’t want his “poor choice of words to detract from [his] colleagues’ important reporting.”
The funniest part of the whole press release is that he honestly believes that writers at Breitbart do “important reporting.” Nevertheless, Yiannopoulos is out. I don’t know what impact this will have on the “alt-right” publication, but for now, I guess, it’s a victory of sorts.
