According to CBS Miami, Simpson allegedly walked into a bank around 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from a bank employee. The FBI says she got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. When Tirado was arrested, she was already on probation for a previous robbery in April.

A tipster tipped off blogger Necole Bitchie about Tirado’s connection to Big Pun. According to the source, Tirado has been trying to receive royalties that she feels are owed to her family since Big Pun’s death in 2000 from a massive heart attack. In a lawsuit from 2009, Big Pun’s wife, Liza Rios, claims that Fat Joe and producer John “Jellybean” Benitez defrauded her family out of Big Pun’s royalties, but Fat Joe denies the accusations.
