Oh, to be a pretty white woman in America, because you can say anything. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) believes that President Barack Obama is turning the United States into a "nation of slaves." Really. Her basis for this is that the legislation that the Democrats in the White House and Congress have put forth amounts to "tyranny." Funny, we don't remember her talking about "tyranny" when the Republican Bush administration and Republican-led Congress practiced "tyranny," passing legislation that has destroyed our economy to such an extent that it will take decades to recover. She also attempted to invoke the words of John Jay. She forgot his famous quote, "Those who own the country should govern it," which is clearly her ideology. Funny, no one cared about a nation of slaves when the slaves where black. Welcome to the club.
