According to the news station, the procession started near J.J. Hill Montessori Magnet School, where Castile was a beloved worker in the cafeteria, before making its way to St. Paul Cathedral on Thursday morning. A horse-drawn carriage carried Castile’s body.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT, before the funeral. Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile, asked that no pictures or video be taken during the funeral. A private burial is expected to follow the funeral, which is expected to last about two hours, KARE-TV notes.

Afterward, a public reception will be held at the magnet school in Castile’s honor.
