Paula Patton will soon be a single woman, now that she has officially filed for divorce from Robin Thicke.

According to TMZ, Patton has gotten the divorce ball rolling, even after Thicke released his failed Paula reconciliation album. Patton cited irreconcilable differences and is looking for joint legal and physical custody of their son, Julian.
The couple, who have been together since high school and married for nine years, separated earlier this year after allegations of Thicke cheating. Patton and Thicke released a joint statement about their separation, saying, “We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
Recently, Thicke blamed his personal problems on his use of drugs and alcohol. During a deposition in Los Angeles Federal Court regarding the lawsuit with the family of Marvin Gaye, Thicke admitted to taking Vicodin and said that he has had a “drug and alcohol problem” for at least a year.
Although the allegations of infidelity will not come into play, Radar Online reported that Patton has threatened to seek full custody if Thicke does not sober up.
