Film is the next medium for Cardi B to conquer as she has now been cast in the upcoming flick Hustlers!
Per Deadline:
Writer-director Lorene Scafaria’s (The Meddler) movie, inspired by a 2016 New York Magazine article, follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.
Along with Cardi, her “Dinero” musical partner Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), KeKe Palmer (Scream Queens), Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), Julia Stiles (Silver Linings Playbook), and Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King) have all been cast in the STXFilms project.
This will be Cardi’s feature film debut.
Shooting will begin for Hustlers on March 22, 2019
