The Internet Split After Amerie’s Tiny Desk Concert

Souza, chief official White House photographer, opened his own Instagram account July 24. Though his pictures occasionally found their way to the White House Instagram account, Souza’s account has a different feel.

The tone isn’t as political. Souza posts beautiful pictures of things that someone taking a tour of the White House might snap — a bust of Abe Lincoln, a shot of the guestbook, napkins imprinted with the presidential seal.

There are also plenty of pictures of Bo, the Obamas’ dog. Asked if he’ll be posting any selfies, Souza replied, “Doubtful.”
