In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will host Prime Minister Boyko Borissov of Bulgaria at the White House. The President welcomes the opportunity to discuss a broad range of bilateral and regional issues during their Oval Office meeting, including Bulgaria's leadership in NATO and its valuable contributions to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. The President also looks forward to receiving updates on Bulgaria's investigation into the July 18, 2012 terrorist attack in Burgas and ongoing rule of law and judicial reforms. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting in the Oval Office with statements.

Later, the President willΒ deliver remarks to the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) symposium being held at the National Defense University.Β  On the 20thΒ anniversary of the CTR program, the President will note the extraordinary progress that's been made in securing nuclear material, and thank Senators Nunn and Lugar for their longstanding leadership on these issues. The President's remarks will be open press.
