Guilty pleasure alert. Power is back on Starz for its 5th season on July 1st, and the newest trailer shows an interesting alliance between Ghost (Omari Hardwick), Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and Kanan (50 Cent), as they attempt to avenge the death of Reina, Ghost’s daughter.

Last season, knuckle-head ass Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) went full Tariq (never go full Tariq) and got his sister killed by a dirty cop. He then decided to be Billy Bad Ass and killed the cop himself, causing his mother Tasha (Naturi Naughton) to take the rap. And of course, there’s Angela Valdez still lurking around with her corny ass. Hopefully this season gets rid of her and Tariq.
Anyways, I don’t have cable any more, so I’m glad I basically got to watch the whole season in under two minutes.
Power returns Sunday, July 1, at 8 p.m. ET on Starz.
