A Washington man was arrested on Tuesday on charges of threatening President Barack Obama in emails sent to the FBI, according to Atlantic magazine. The man, who was eventually subdued, reportedly charged at U.S. Secret Service agents with a shotgun when they arrived at his house to arrest him.

Anton Caluori lives in Federal Way, Washington. Caluori sent a threatening email to the F.B.I. threatening the President in some way. The F.B.I. thought enough of the email to forward it to the Secret Service, who worked with the Federal Way police to track him down. When they went to his house on Tuesday to arrest him, he didn’t exactly go quietly:
When Secret Service agents went to the man’s apartment in Federal Way, he “charged at them” at the front door carrying a shotgun, some ammunition, and another weapon believed to be a pistol.
