The Blaze describes the spot as having a "Soul Train soundtrack" and "Barry White-like music" in the background. Not sure about that, but we'd argue that it sounds, well, exactly like a commercial made for black — or "urban" — radio. Which is, of course, what it is.

As the general election ramps up, the Obama campaign is launching its first national radio ad this cycle targeting African Americans. Sticking with the "We've got your back" theme, it includes clips of Obama pledging to voters on the campaign trail not to cut back on health insurance for the poor or elderly or on programs such as Head Start to pay for upper-income tax cuts — all against the backdrop of custom-made song that voters of any race risk getting stuck in their heads.
