The media streaming giant and production company, which has been giving out deals to black folk with the fury of the presidentโ€™s racist tweets, recently announced that Leslie Jones, comedian and SNL vet (she just wrapped her fifth season with the NBC staple), will be coming to Netflix in a new hour-long standup show.=

Netflix is a bit short on details on the Jesse Collins Entertainment-produced vehicle, only noting that the special will launch globally in 2020. If her past is prologue, though, Jones will be talking all about dominating men, hip-hop, and some ghetto ish sprinkled in.

Jonesโ€™ career has really taken off since her national profile has risen via SNL, with Netflix noting that โ€œher work on the long-standing sketch show has garnered her 3 Emmy nominations and inclusion on the Time 100 list. Leslie has covered the most recent summer and winter Olympics for NBC and was the host of The 2017 BET Awards. You can catch her next, voicing the brassy villainess character, Zeta, in Angry Birds 2, out worldwide on August 16th.โ€

Also, as reported by The Root, Jones has just been tapped to play some role in the upcoming Coming 2 America flick, set to drop in December 2020.
