Aaron Hernandez will again be facing the music in court, this time for a 2012 Boston double homicide. Jury selection is set to begin Tuesday, with prosecutors and defense lawyers picking from a pool of some 600 candidates. Hernandez, a former NFL star who played with the New England Patriots, was already convicted of first-degree murder last year in the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd and is currently serving a life sentence.

When Hernandez steps into court this time, he will be battling charges in the fatal shooting deaths of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, two Cape Verdean nationals, Reuters reports. Hernandez is accused of killing the men after one of them accidentally spilled a drink on him.
According to the newswire, prosecutors intend to call forth as a witness Alexander Bradley, a former friend of Hernandez’s who was present the night Abreu and Furtado were killed.
Hernandez is also facing charges of witness intimidation for allegedly shooting Bradley in the face, which cost Bradley an eye.
Opening statements for the case are not scheduled until March.
