H&M is catching it from all sides since social media discovered a little black boy modeling a monkey sweatshirt on its website. So far, the Weeknd and rapper G-Eazy have ended their partnerships with the company, and several other celebrities and athletes have called out H&M over its racist ad. Now Jesse Williams has a few words for the company.

Williams took to Instagram to post his displeasure regarding the ad, especially since he’s worked with the company on an ad campaign.
“[Here] they come with this bullshit… These offenses are more about the makeup of the rooms where they happen, than the items they produce,” he posted. “There is a concentration of power, committed to exclusion, whether casual, accidental or conscious.”
“Aren’t you bored? Aren’t you bored watching mediocre, incurious & consequently destructive people waltz through your life, shepherded into positions of power, further choking off opportunity for the actually talented & decent among us?” Williams continued.
H&M issued a statement about the sweatshirt and said it had been removed:
We understand that many people are upset about the image of the children’s hoodie. We, who work at H&M, can only agree. We’re deeply sorry that the picture was taken, and we also regret the actual print. … It’s obvious that our routines haven’t been followed properly. This is without any doubt.
