America appears to be fed up with the status quo. Inexperienced and first-time political candidates are winning convincingly in this year’s primaries. The latest winners are appointed Sen. Michael Bennett of Colorado and WWE millionaire Linda McMahon of Connecticut. Bennett won a bitter Democratic primary against his rival, and McMahon dispatched of her opponent in the Republican primary in Connecticut. They both positioned themselves as outsiders who will bring about change in Washington. We guess people still haven’t figured out that money equals power in this country and that many of them are a part of the establishment, whether or not they hold political office. Good luck with changing Washington.
