Hope is getting slim for a Tennessee woman trying to recoup the money she spent on Powerball tickets.

GoFundMe, the online crowdfunding site, shut down her lucrative fundraising campaign, the New York Daily News reports.
Cinnamon Nicole claimed that she blew all her money on the lottery in hopes of winning last week’s $1.6 billion jackpot. But at 1-in-292 million odds, gamblers had practically no chance of winning.
With her dream of becoming a billionaire dashed, Nicole launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $100,000 from donors. She wanted to recoup her losses and take another shot at the lottery.
“With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again!” she wrote on her campaign page.
Several people wrote disparaging comments on her page. But Nicole managed to raise more than $800 in seven hours before the site’s operator discovered her campaign.
GoFundMe swiftly shut down her campaign for violating its terms and conditions. The Daily News reports that the company refunded her donors.
