TMZ reports that Otunga is expected to hold primary custody of David Jr. at least until a formal custody agreement is worked out between the 8-year-old’s parents.

The site had previously reported that Otunga, a former wrestler and reality-TV star, had claimed to be their son’s primary caregiver ever since the boy’s birth because of Hudson’s travel schedule. TMZ further notes that Hudson is currently in London shooting for The Voice UK and is also expected to do more travel to Los Angeles to do The Voice.

Another major win for Otunga? Hudson also reportedly dropped her order of protection, which had cut Otunga off from contacting their son or Hudson herself.
