Qwantrell Gilliam, 41, is facing charges of murder, evidence tampering and criminal possession of a weapon in the case.

Dayo Corley, 43, was found dead in the driver’s seat of her car the afternoon of Oct. 31 after she had been reported missing about two days prior. According to the Daily News, Corley had kicked Gilliam out of their home in June, but he had returned several times to the residence and argued with her, police said.
