Police said that a man and woman robbed a 99 cent store in Brooklyn and also beat an employee who tried to impede on the crime, as reported by NY Daily News.

At about 1:30 p.m. on November 18, the duo walked into the store and started grabbing merchandise.
According to Daily News, a 35-year-old store clerk tried to confront the couple, but the man gave him a bloody lip after punching him in the face and head multiple times.
The thieves fled the scene before they were caught.
Police are currently in search of the suspects, the man described as black with a beard, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and hat, and the woman described with blonde hair, blue jacket, floral shirt and black pants.
