Another school shooting has left two students dead and 15 injured after a gunman opened fire at a New Mexico school.

The New York Daily News reports that the shooter is also dead, but the Aztec High School remains on lockdown and has been evacuated.

According to the report, the school, which is in the Four Corners region, is close to the Navajo Nation. The state police and FBI are conducting an investigation into the shooting.

“It’s tragic when our children are harmed in violent ways, especially on school campuses,” Navajo Nation President Russell Begaye said. “We express our condolences to those families who have been harmed. Our prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy and everyone throughout the San Juan County. We are asking for prayers for these families.”

It is not immediately clear how the gunman died or what the motive behind the attack was. It is also not clear whether the shooting occurred inside or outside the school, according to Fox News.
