A three-story building collapsed in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, on Wednesday. Nineteen people were killed and 12 people were rescued. The building collapsed around 5 a.m. (12 a.m. ET) in the Garki area of Abuja, said deputy police spokesman Yemi Ajayi. The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
