On Feb. 11, Usher will take over Las Vegas once again to perform for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show. And while we know he could very well perform the entire 13-minute set by himself, heβs teased that R&B will take centerstage and that heβd be bringing out folks who represent the genre in itβs truest sense.
So, itβs in that vein, that we thought weβd make a list of folks we think might be fun additions to his already iconic set.

Alicia Keys

I donβt know about yβall but I know about this: we need to see Alicia and Usher together again to do βMy Boo,β and thatβs just not up for debate.
Beyonce

Itβs a crying shame weβve only gotten one collab from Bey and Usher over the years. How iconic would it be for us to finally see them reunited on one of the biggest stages?!
Jazmine Sullivan

If you were blessed enough to see Jazmine and Usher perform at the Roots Picnic in 2023, then you already know what kind of musical magic they can make.
Tank

Usher may be the King of R&B, but Tank is the genreβs love child. Plus, Usher said he wants the performance to feel like heβs singing directly to the women. Who better to help whisper sweet nothings than Mr. βSex, Love, Pain?β
Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige is a great performer (with stellar dance moves btw) and one of R&Bβs most beloved pillars.
Ella Mai

Some folks may be sleeping on some of Ella Maiβs bops, but because Iβm a huge fan of βDonβt Waste My Timeββwhich features her and Usher, weβve got to give Ella a chance to shine.
Summer Walker

Iβve been bumping βGood Goodβ and the βCome Thruβ Remix for a good reason. If weβre gonna center R&B, who better than Summer Walker?
Lucky Daye

For the way Lucky Daye slide on βGuessββwhich samples Usherβs βYou Donβt Have to Callβ by the wayβhe deserves a cameo alongside him.
Ari Lennox

My favorite βShea Butter Babyβ?? This one is a no brainer.
Victoria Monet

Who is having a bigger moment than Victoria right now? If her song βOn My Mamaβ and choreography isnβt proof sheβs ready for the big stageβI donβt know what is!
Chloe

If you want somebody whose gonna match Usherβs energyβlook no further than Chloe Bailey. From vocal range to dance moves, sheβs more than ready.
Teyana Taylor

Itβs beyond clear that Teyana Taylor can creatively direct the hell out of anything and her musical talent speaks for itself. Her and Usher together would definitely bring some major heat.
T-Pain

I know this might be an unorthodox pick considering the slight kerfuffle they had years ago, but T-Painβs contributions to R&B canβt go unnoticed. I think it would be an underrated addition.
Honorable Mention: Lil Jon and Ludacris

OK, I know, they arenβt R&B acts but if Usher doesnβt bring out Luda and Lil Jon to do βYeah,ββI might riot in the streets.
Honorable Mention: Plies

Four words: βDaddyβs Home.β The remix. Personally, I think he should open with this one but thatβs just me!
