The Root hit the streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant without warning to quiz residents about neighborhood icon Christopher “Biggie” Wallace, who would have turned 45 on May 21. 

We stopped by his old apartment and the supermarket where he used to work, and caught photos of the murals dedicated to the rap icon, one of which may not be around much longer.
