Too many black children have not lived to celebrate the tender age of 21. Instead, their families are forced to live with memories of what was and dreams of what could have been. How many more black children have to die at the hands of police before officers are held accountable?

In honor of what would have been Michael Brown’s 21st birthday on Saturday, May 20, we spoke with 21-year-olds about the impact of police violence on black children. Watch above.
