According to the report, 59-year-old Raleigh Harris was ordering a chicken-wings dinner at a Temple Terrace Publix store when he was allegedly rude to the worker behind the counter and used racial slurs. Another employee told him to calm down, and another customer, Leon Lightbody, confronted Harris, according to the New York Daily News; the situation deteriorated from there.ย

Harrisย โ€œgot really outraged and told [the employee] to mind his fโ€”king business and kinda threw the n-word in there a few times,โ€ Jessica Jordan,ย a customer who witnessed the entire situation, told WFLA.

โ€œThe guy that was ordering chicken was, like, running around the deli being chased by these other customers," she added.

A fight between customers ensued, with employees joining in and attempting to break up the scuffle. Video that another eyewtitness took showed tables of food being pushed away and knocked to the ground in the midst of the fight.ย

Lightbody, 25, was arrested for simple battery, according to WFLA. It is unclear whether Harris was also arrested in the incident.

No one was seriously injured in the fight.
