The film, which was written by McQueen and Gone Girl‘s Gillian Flynn, stars Viola Davis, Brian Tyree Henry, Colin Farrell, Daniel Kaluuya, Jon Bernthal, Jacki Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Erivo, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Duvall.

Widows tells the story of Veronica (Davis), who takes on her husband’s last robbery heist after he and his crew die. Veronica enlists the widows (Rodriguez, Erivo, and Debicki) of her husband’s crew to help pull it off, in order to payback Henry’s character after Veronica’s husband (Liam Neeson), stole from him.
