According to the report, on the night of Oct. 18, a friend of the alleged victim called an Uber to take her home after she had had too much to drink.

However, the driver who picked her up, 29-year-old Westagne Pierre, apparently did not drop her at home, police say.

Authorities say that Pierre picked up the victim and drove her to her house, at first, but that instead of dropping her off and leaving her, Pierre then drove to a hotel, checked in using his own information and carried the woman to a hotel room.

After some time, Pierre left the room at the Budget Inn in College Park, Md., and went to a nearby 7-Eleven, where is accused of using the woman's American Express card to make a $14 purchase, authorities say.

Pierre was taken into custody last week and is facing charges of kidnapping, assault and fraudulently using the woman's credit card. According to Fox5DC, additional charges are pending after a consultation with the state's attorney's office.
