President Shoofly von BotherEveryone was supposed to host a meeting with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to discuss preventing a possible government shutdown. Before the meeting, President DoucheFace von FrostedTufts decided that it would be a good idea to tweet how ineffective and pointless he believed said meeting was going to be.

“Chuck and Nancy” got wind of the tweet and decided that meeting with the asshole in chief would be a colossal waste of time and energy, so they canceled the meeting.

Because the president is an asshole, which I wrote about extensively here, he still hosted said meeting and included two chairs with name tags for “Chuck and Nancy” to prove that they were no-shows. Of course he didn’t mention that he’d tweeted that the meeting was pointless; he just sat there looking sad and dejected as if he weren’t the perpetrator. Trump wanted the empty seats to prove that “Chuck and Nancy” were “all talk and no action,” but the move backfired as the internet decided to mock the president, because isn’t that what he’s here for?

I also am not sure what level of fuckboy status you’ve reached when you allow a president to play you on this level, but there is no way in hell Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) were supposed to let the president play them into a photo op. Look at this goofy shit:
