Actor Anwan Glover, known for playing Slim Charles on the popular HBO show The Wire, was stabbed at a Washington, D.C., nightclub.

According to the police report, Glover was at Café Asia in downtown D.C. on Saturday night when two unknown people attacked him. One person punched him and another hit him on the back of his head, according to the Washington Post.

Glover, who had performed earlier with the Backyard Band at the Summer Spirit Festival in Columbia, Md., was then stabbed during the attack.

Glover was treated for a laceration at George Washington University Hospital. On Sunday, Glover posted on his Instagram account about the incident:

Glover, a D.C. native, most recently appeared in 12 Years a Slave.
