President Obama began this week with a visit to ZBB Energy Corp., in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, where he touted the benefits of clean energy. β€œFor years, we've heard about manufacturing jobs disappearing overseas. Companies like this one are showing us how manufacturing jobs can come back,” Obama told the ZBB staff, which makes power systems that use renewable energy sources.

After ZBB, Obama traveled to Milwaukee, where he’ll later stump at events for Mayor Tom Barrett and the Wisconsin Democratic Party. After those, the president will be off to Los Angeles to appear at another event, this one for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

On Tuesday Obama will go to Seattle and speak about jobs before headlining a rally for Senator Patty Murray, while Wednesday will find him in Ohio for Governor Ted Strickland and the Ohio Democratic Party. On Wednesday evening he’ll travel to Florida to speak to the Florida Democratic Party.

Thursday will bring a welcome respite, with the president and his family retiring to Martha’s Vineyard until the 29th.
