A 32-year-old man was attacked by another man who shouted racial and anti-gay slurs at him in New York City's West Village neighborhood Sunday evening, the New York Daily News reports.

The attacker yelled,"[F—got! N—ger]!" before pushing the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head on a window frame, according to the report. The attacker then ran off.

The victim says he was simply walking down the street when the man began yelling at him.
