The Virginia-based social climbers got the instant fame they'd been craving when they bluffed their way into President Obama's first State Dinner last November.

The Bravo cameras were already trailing the Salahis and recorded some of the stunt, which ultimately cost White House social secretary Desiree Rogers her job.

The fakers were even photographed doing the grip and grin with an unsuspecting Obama.

The Secret Service didn't realize they'd been snookered until after Michaele Salahi posted photos of the herself at the fete on her Facebook page.

"These people should not have gotten through the gate," an irked Obama later said in a "60 Minutes" interview.

The Salahis pleaded the Fifth in January when a House committee tried to quiz them about how they got into the soiree without invitations.

They remain under investigation by a federal grand jury.
